PC was originally ok....but i hand itchy go change psu.
Now wont boot n no display.

I found the cmos batt cant hold the date the last start up....is that the issue?
I go inside bios n change the date n it works.
I shutdown as per normal.
This morning change psu....fans turning....but no display.
I change back to the old psu but still cant boot.
I got take out ram n push in again, but no help.
Sian, hate this kind of no display problem.

Mobo is old biostar Geforce 8100 M2+ TE.
Ram is kingston 2gb ddr2.
Psu is powerlogic 450w originally....change to 450w andyson.

Hi all,

I managed to boot up the pc....looks like it is the rams.
I use the eraser trick n it works!!

So I added another extra 1GB ram...and it is 3GB ram.

But I still find it slow.....the CPU is Athlon X2 7750 :o....
Using onboard Geforce 8100.....

If I pump in a video card (the reason why I change my PSU)....will it be better?
Im trying to run Full HD....but looks like there were some jittering in the image.
Very slight.
This is why I added extra ram because my system using onboard.

Not really playing games...but is more for surfing n watching HD videos.

Or simply just....dump the system?:s13:
