Hi all been out of touch of hardware for awhile now, so wanna consult the Bros here before I confirm is psu problem.
Here's what happened:
Yesterday when I tried to switch on my com, the fans spin for awhile and stop. But after that, they start spinning for a split second again and stop. This goes on in a loop forever until I plug out the power cable. However after I disconnect the power cable and wait awhile before turning on again, it worked yesterday. This morning pc power up with no issue but until this evening, the pc suddenly cut power and switched off several times and now when I try to switch it back on it gives the same endless loop of fans spinning for split second and turning off.
Can I confirm is the psu problem?
If yes any good modular psu to reccomend? Will be getting a new one if that is causing the problem since mine is out of warranty..

Is the rig on your profile the same as the one in question? If not, list down all parts here.

That sounds almost exactly like the problem I have with an ASRock H81, except the sudden shutdown part.

The next time you manage to get it to boot, flash an updated BIOS.

Add: One more thing, if you want to check for PSU issue, go load Furmark or OCCT PSU test, that will stress your PSU more than trying to load Windows.
