Use a long nose pliers to straighten the bent pins, as long all pins are not in contact with the adjacent pin, you are good to go.

These pins are extra long using in this extender. It's suppose to be solder through including the PCB thickness, without the PCB, extra long and easily bend.

Taobao link for the PCI-E extender
Not sure what you mean by fake, its not even a branded thing to begin with so how can it be fake, it either works or not works? :s13:
Read the review, not bad, good quality
price less than $50 ba, including shipping
the link only show 15cm ($25), not sure if 30cm will need to add how much, got many angle to choose from also

Lian Li said their pcie X16 cable uses the highest bandwidth quality. They've gone through tests between the version 1 & current version 2 cable.
That's why they charge high price.

Version 1 was $80
Version 2 now $130

and in my MoBo ------------------->

there is pcie 3.0 x 16 and pcie 2.0 x16.

is there an impact in performance if i use pcie 2.0 x16?

as the extender is just 200mm..the pcie 2.0 is nearer to my gpu

the difference shld be around 5%-7% lower in the pcie 2.0 slot

actually just use the pcie 2.0 slot first while waiting/sourcing for the new extender, maybe you will find no difference.
