Hi,

like to check if i like to add a creative sound blaster zx to my system, what slot can i plug it to since the PCIe x1 is used for wifi receiver.

you can plug it into any pci x16 slot too. 1st pcie x16 slot should be taken up by your gtx 550ti.

but i will suggest u swap the wifi receiver card with your sound card as the sound card is larger and will be blocking airflow to your graphic card

noted. Thanks for your advise. didnt know tt x1 can plug into x16 slot since the port size look so different

its backward compatible. small can plug into big, but big cannot plug into small refer to the pic below for reference
