hi man,

okay the main reason why i put the top bar like that, separating the title and the menus, is because i want users to see the full title of the thread when they view the thread. because sometimes users might forget the thread title after being engrossed into the thread. i can squeeze all together in a single bar, but the thread title will be cut out. only 3-4 words can be seen.

1) i can make it hidden from the start but if i do this, the menu bar will be hidden all the time unless user scroll up. most of the time, users are scrolling down to read posts and they will think the menu bar is non existent. so if let's say they wanna press the back button or click on the star icon, they might not know there will be a menu bar(for new users) or might be searching for it. it's a bad UX i feel.

2) i thought about swiping right to go back previous screen just like iOS but it's conflicting with the swiping gestures to reveal the right menu. the right menu is revealed when users swipe left and closed when users swipe right. the swipe right gesture will be having two actions and it's conflicting.

hi,

oh yes i noticed that too, they like to use dark blue and red font as their default font color which is unnecessary. it will be readable on white background in my app, but for black theme very hard to read. i can disable the font color, and just show it white/black.

But if i do that, do you think it will affect the experience if let's say users post an article, or quote a user and they colored a phrase/sentence to highlight a specific context?
