Scrolling is very sluggish. 2016 flagship

I think scrolling will be an issue in new version, coz im not using native Android framework.
When i tested looks okay to me, but i guess because previous version was smooth so can see the obvious difference

Scrolling a bit jerky for me

It's still available, just not visible have to press to see which are the copy/paste/cut options.

For android users, i have submitted an update to play store.
In the mean time i will fix other issues reported

Changelog:

*Added toggle to set theme manually in profile screen
*Switch dark mode to AMOLED black
*Remove top section spacing in home screen
*Added additional bigger font sizes
*Added toggle to hide display pic
*Minor UI enhancements & bug fixes

Still can, but yea I just realised the copy/selectall banner above the cursor is transparent.
Need to change the background color.

i cannot highlight text in forum mode

Text editor mode can highlight but the menu is transparent as you said

the dialog box is somehow blended with dark mode, i dunno about the light mode

hi bro, i dunno is it of my phone settings, but the app setting of font size and hide display picture will auto switch back once you exit the app

Try clearing cache/data of the app
But u have to login again afterwards

Doesn't work. Setting to hide display pic does not persist after exiting the app. This is after clearing data/cache and logging in again.

Also, as mentioned by others, (i) the read status of the threads is reset after exiting the app (ii) unable to select text in forum mode, (iii) not sure about others , but I thought the effect of page scrolling to last read post when entering a thread, or going to the previous page in the thread is rather annoying.

Edit: Suggestion here. For such massive revamp in the future, maybe you could consider releasing a beta version via the app store first? This way, you can collect feedback from ppl who don't mind a buggy app, and iron out the issues before releasing a stable version to those who just want a stable build. Currently, everyone is beta testing this app for you, whether they like it or not.

I accept your suggestion but I'm gonna be realistic and straightforward here.

I know how the forum people is like, no one is willing to beta test for me one. I did that for iOS users before releasing to App Store, but only 1 or 2 person willing to test for me. These 2 people doesnt represent the whole HWZ community. They are okay with the new UI, but many others might not be okay. So i wont even know the actual things i need to fix or amend. There are some who even take this 'beta testing' opportunity to try latest software but in the end never give any feedback.

Also, i do not owe anyone anything here. If have any issues or feature u want, kindly let me know. Don't have to demand me until like that. I'm not only saying you, but there are also many others here as well.

I took the time and effort to create this app to contribute to the community. I'm not charging everyone any money to pay this app nor using any advertisements inside the app, the app is totally free.
