Hi all,
I would like to inquire about CISA course provided by PDAtrain.
Does the school deliver a good way of teaching and how well is the lesson ?
I would like to ask also is that is it difficult to pass the CISA exam ?

Thanks

Not in a position to comment in PDATrain's training although there are other training centres that offers the CISA training at lower prices.

PDATrain's pricing is high because they managed to get ISACA to accredit them as a authorised centre which makes them eligible for CITREP. I believe they will be the only CITREP approved centre in Singapore.

For the exam, the course will only supplement the preparations for the exam. You cannot expect to attend the course and be ready to sit for the exam. The course will only serve to clarify any doubts you may have regarding the topics that will be tested. Having said that, to maximise the effectiveness of the class, you should have done your fair bit of self study before attending the class and use the class to clarify areas you are not clear on instead of going in blank expecting to learn everything from the 5 days.

I am CISSP, CISA, CISM certified and believe me... of all the three certifications, i would say CISA is probably the most difficult to clear as the scope is extremely wide. Everything under the sun related to IT will be tested in one way or another

Took ITIL there and you really have to self study if you have zero knowledge. They have course material and some tips for exams. The guy who taught is angmoh and very heavy irish accent.

Price is abit high as conducted in 5 star hotels. You get nice breaks and lunch.

After this course, i stop PDAtrain. Not really worth the money

CISA is difficult because it combine part of CGEIT, CISM, CRISC into one. The last part of the domain covering protection of information asset will have weight the highest scoring.

You dont need to go for a course. Just self study with Official ISACA material which you can order via ISACA website....
