from my experience, usually sellers will sell non-guaranteed screens which will come with blemishes
unless you tell them you want a perfect non-blemish no dead pixel screen

Tried to feel that part of screen, it is smooth, it seems to be on the inner side.

Tried to scratch with nail also.. no effect.. hehe

Yeah. With proper tools* a screen replacement is fairly easy.

*good to invest in driver bits
As one le Torx head screw would really throw you off  :s13:

Yes but about rmb50 for my model although increment is quite significant, base price is about rmb180
Roughly sgd50 for a replacement screen is reasonable to me,better than going to simlim

There are usually 6-8 layers within the screen, and to remove them layer by layer is an extremely difficult task.
From the looks of your screen, this is a refurbished screen. The mark is likely on the based background white layer according to our experience. :(

When buying from China, many sellers there knows that the inbound shipment back to china is more expensive than the product itself (around SGD$60, if you hit the custom tax, additional $20). Thus they tend to send these defective products out once they know you are from overseas, especially Singapore and Malaysia, which are more affluent than nearby countries.

To disassemble is too much work usually. Just think of it has removing 6 layers of very difficult to remove screen protector. After that, you have to paste it back without any single speck of dust, without bending any intermediate piece. You will need very high level of expertise to do that.

Our advise will be to give the seller a really lousy rating, then negotiate the seller to send you a 2nd piece at a discounted price without you having to send the LCD back to them for warranty. That would probably be the best solution out. :)

Hi pcdreams.. thank you.
Yeah about the screen, all your input are on the spot.
Not too sure whether they know item is to be sent to overseas as i used a taobao agent in singapore, i dont really speak chinese for negotiations, just too bad, model wasn't check thoroughly.
I was given options and went with replacement but had to pay return shipping, just have to ask agent to check thoroughly next time.

And yeah expense turned out to be more than planned.
