I'm more looking forward to P5 than FFXIV. At least it stays more true to JRPG roots while FF series is just trying to pander to western gamers.

Japanese game played, commentary/explanation in Chinese:

The graphic design too flashy for my taste (in menus and all sorts of visual elements). But given the graphic design I think this game is better played in Chinese than English, cos Chinese is closer to Japanese. English is alphabetical, the length of words is very different and English won't fit the graphic style so nicely or closely.

Chinese version should be 2017 but no date announced yet. English is Feb 14.

Same view too. Can't really play for too long before getting fatigued. But very immersive game play

Maybe I not used to JRPGs (although I've been following FF), but I thought the storyline quite weak. Well maybe cos I'm only 3hrs into the game.

Few comments:
- few chances for saved points
- the dialogue is pretty impressive

Haha. Did not realise that. Prob not used to it.

But must admit the entire game is stylish and I really do miss turn-based combat.

Got my Persona 5 CE! Preordered from Qisahn at 14x 1 year ago but they only let me choose from dented/dog-eared/torn copies. New batches were coming in but they dont allow me to pick from those. Requested for full refund. Super disappointed with them.

End up purchased from TOG for $160.
