We are both in Bronco school 1, just i when to cut botak and there was a sergeant, not from tekong i think he posted outside to other camp he spoke to me;

Sergeant: 19 Weeks training in Tekong?
Me: Yes
Sergeant: Any idea what school or company?
Me: Yes, School 1 Bronco
Sergeant: Wa, Bronco ah, GOOD LUCK
Me: Why?
Sergeant: *Shakes head* The people there ah jialat - walks out of the shop
Me: *GmfckingG* to myself

the daily exercises given see other people eat ice cream but cant eat...can only eat plain biscuits

unless u meet the same trainers... it could be new trainers too

the school nearer to jetty so faster reached must think of this whenever bookout

Depends on your OC/CSM rah.....Mine was damn good always book the earliest(or close to) for us. Even RT people also can bookout on the same day around 7pm. My coy is the furthest from the jetty......still need to take tunnel/bus to ladang before going to the jetty.

u can try flagging them down....some are good... and need some patient to flag them down...

or see which of your bunk mates got their parents to fetch them...ask them if can drop off nearest MRT station....

can seat if got seats in trains...

bookout got timings...can have early bookout and late bookin or worse ones... late bookout and early bookin

each time bookout will be more teamwork as everyone want to prepare go back faster...so march faster
opposite will be when bookin... slowly march

now everywhere must wear cap even when outside camps last time outside camp remove the cap already...guess got people complain...

dont play with your uniforms... or not wearing cap...got people doing spot check... and if u smoke do it in smoking zones... maybe u can quit them if u smoke since your allowance so little

every home cook meal will be precious...resting in your own bed each time u bookout... no energy or mood to go out...

their famous cough can spread fast ones...

also maybe the meals can cause u to need find toilet fast... due to healthier food...

2nd~~~~ In school 4 so no sea view for me lol, but got single deck bed sleep until song song. My time still got free Samsung tab with Wifi access. Enjoyed my stay there though I failed almost everything(IPPT, SOC, no marksmen).

My section quite nice also but all no contact liao.

took one trip from east to north already $25 that was before they up the fares

your commanders be there with you... got problems also can ask them...

single bed the best... no need to disturb the one sleeping above u nor they disturb u while moving around...

my time only basic 2G or 3G and Nokia and non camera phone no energy even to surf the internet after trainings ended... just basic quick calls but battery last quite long...

Mine PTP lots of admin time. If you give me choose whether I want enhanced or PTP, I will still go for PTP. 2 more months but you will spend more time with your friends and a lot less rushed. Definitely helped me ease my transition to army.

if u got any excuse letter from specialists... print some copies too... standby 2 copies to bring to medical centre if u need to endorse it... and another u kept...

all items prepared?

dont bring too much or the following bookout u need to bring back including your fieldpack ( army large backpack)...

snake powder... muscle ache cream or liquid... handsaplast... powerbank (some companies allowed removable cables) hangers and clips... black markers... black tapes (cheaper outside as can get at those ABC stores )... wrote your name on your hangers and clips and your personal clothes (underwear ) as it get missing fast

got chance to go emart...

one of these is important as it go missing fast too... so get some spares... and other items u think are needed...dont get too much as there is a limit on your credits available... how much available u can check with the staffs at emart...

when u get your saf ic (ensure all details are correct)... it useful for visiting govt hospitals and and dental clinics... when u bookout and fell sick...it FOC but dont abuse it too much as they will complained back and u get the "rewards".
