PES C Mono Intake

hey guys,

i was supposed to enlist last week but due to some interna injuries, my enlistment date was postponed and my pes went from B to C. I just recieved my letter and I am supposed to enlist at 95 Choa Chu Kang (BMTC5).

I have a few questions:
1. What does it mean if I am posted straight to non-tekong?
2. Can I still up PES?
3. What does BMTC5 means? I can only find BMTC1-4.

All the laojiaos or those with info, pls help me thank u v much

1. Obviously you are reporting to Kranji Camp (i think 3) for your BMT, so techinally it's non-tekong.

2. Yes, but please go see specialist , do whatever test and what not you need to do before the specialist decides to reccomend you for up PES or not.If can up PES he will give you a memo to be shown to your MO, and the MO takes over from that point.

3. Maybe i have served my time 14 years back. Didn't know that there are so many BMTCs nowadays.



On a side note , i would advise you not to up PES until you are very certain that military life suits you. Go thru BMT and unit life to see first hand what SAF is truly like before making the decision.
