Pes E1L9 due to hearing issues

Hi all,

I'm in pes e1l9 due to hearing issues, I think it can be a higher pes as that time I didn't wear my hearing aid to check my hearing. May I seek from u guys ur advise what are the chances of up-pesing to B2L2 or pes C. Thank you so much.

I wanna do something useful for the next 2 years. E.G trying for command school. I wanna do something that a every man goes through not using my hearing issue as an issue. I know safety of myself and my team mate is a hazard but I will Ensure that instruction are passed down to me properly before I execute my actions.

So you are insinuating that those people who are PES E are doing unuseful stuff?

Unless you are PES A or B1, you can't go command school.

Ask to be medical boarded in person with your hearing aid and explain your case

u cant bear firearms with ur hearing issue, no way u are going to command sch.. even with a higher pes

Whether your 2 years is a waste of time or not is detemined not by your vocation but your attitude. U can be a chao keng rifleman & waste your 2 years. Or u can be an on the ball clerk & contribute greatly.

you first need to get another specialist to support your claims, then ask for medical board in person. If your specialist cannot or will not support then the chances will be that SAF medical board will not do so.

Probably not PES A or B but maybe PES C?

If your specialist didn't specifically recommend that you get PES E, you can also ask him/her to recommend you for a higher PES. If he/she agrees, it will be a lot easier for you to up-PES. It's most likely that you will get PES C instead of A or B, but there's no harm in trying anyway, worse come to worse, you'll remain in PES E with all the perks of a non-combat vocation.

Yea agreed. i was pes e9l9, was posted to be ADMIN clerk but it was under HR department so other than 2 years working experience for me to apply for HR degree, my working experience was actually relevant cause my 2 years ns life was doing HR stuff. can put in my resume also liao.

Very hard to up pes with hearing issues. Worked in CMPB before and doctors very hesitant to up pes for hearing probs one.
