[PETITION] To unban user -> EatSnakeWarrior

I am writing in reference to this account -> EatSnakeWarrior's homepage - HardwareZone.com.sg



During the Amazon Black Friday period, I may have used a referral link, which resulted in a 10 day ban.

However, for no apparent reason, the ban escalated and increased to a month, which was alright with me since the reason for ban was because of the aforementioned referral links.

Then I checked my account status a few days later and it became a p-ban and the reason given was usage of multiple account.

I don't get the reason of the p-ban. During the period whereby I was banned,


- I did not create any accounts

- I was only lurking around in the forums

- I only recovered this account's lost password so that I could appeal.


I hope something can be done to lift the ban as the reason for banishing it is just unfair.

I checked the infractions for EatSnakeWarrior and I must say that they were valid. There were multiple spamming of referral links, despite warnings not to do so. Even the title was changed to reflect that.

And you spammed for multiple products as well. Therefore, the moderator saw fit to take action. I see that you have another account now. So, the answer is no. I will not endorse the removal of the ban.

That was for the one month ban no? How about the multiple accounts? I don't see how my ban got extended to perm when I wasnt using multiple accounts

I counted the infractions you received and it amounted to the accumulation of points where you would be permanently banned. The reason put in for the ban was "Using multiple account". This is excluding the numerous infractions that expired.

Then why isn't the TS of the amazon black Friday thread banned? If you go through his posts you'll find a lot of referral links too

That thread is in EDMW, your infractions are from Hardware Clinic.

If you feel he is posting referral links, then report the posts. If he's found to be doing so, then he'll receive infractions as well.
