Phanteks vertical GPU mounting kit

Hi,

Anyone has this install? Wanna know the included PCIE cable quality and will impact the frame rates? Another point, my first slot PCIE is occupied with my wifi card, possible to mount this from the 2nd slot onwards?
Any input much appreciated. Thanks

I have one. Frame rates are not impacted but be very careful about clearance to your side panel. You might choke airflow to your GPU

But, if your casing is a Lian Li (as per your specs) you should look for the Lian Li kits. The Lancool II has some.

Note: If you get the Phanteks, this is designed for Phanteks cases where you can remove the horizontal brackets.

I did have a look at the LIAN Li mount but it covers the whole 7 slots with a black plate which my WiFi PCIE card will be taken up the first slot. Phanteks one covers 6 slots I guess.

Why didn't you just get a board with built-in wifi or use a LAN cable?

Mine no need to mod. Remove all the brackets will have a blank space.

Got the PCIE type WiFi and didn’t think so far ahead for vertical GPU. Rig connected by LAN and WiFi BT is for convenience if needed. Printer and headphones using this function as for now.

Why didn't you just get a board with built-in wifi or use a LAN cable?
