Philips LED lightings

has anybody bought their LED lightings for use in HDB BTO?
bought some simple LED lightings for the toilets and common rooms based on 6500K as I am treating them as functional workspace.
not sure if their 6500K is too glaring or acceptable

all my bulbs are philips cool day light at 6500. i like bright so its ok for me.

I also just bought Philips LED. I bought at huge discount for their ceiling light.
But is Philips LED really good?
For me is attract by deep discounts, so i buy. Their retailers price is $599. I bought at $200. Any expert know philips products often give deep discounts?

I go to those japalan store buy the LED bulb for ceiling fan e27 type, nice n bright. $10+.
6500k is color, white light.

If you talk about those normal ceiling light then get from taobao or oem cheaper, dont think there's much diff except pricing.

Downlight for all room and kitchen.

Surface mount ceiling light at bomb shelter.

Most my downlight and t5 i buy from Philip.

Only the toilet and service yard use china brand surface mount lighting..

All is warm white..

hello, isit the same as the Philip, that once the set is spolit, have to buy an entirely new set for replacement.

Usually there will be led driver or ballast. Usually that will spoilt 1st. So if u buy from tao bao just remember to buy a few to keep a home.

hello sorry because Im not familiar with lights. So as spare, I should buy LED DRIVER along with the full set of lights?

Yes..

Usually there is 2 type of led lighting..

1 is with external led driver this 1 is good and can be repalce easily. Usually can find the driver easily anywhere.

2 is build in driver, can be good and bad.. good thing is 1 pcs hardware bad is when spolit usually is throw away. Some still can change back to the same brand n model driver.

So either u buy additional driver or light to keep...

For my home i got 35 downlight so i brought 40pcs if got spolit i can replace directly. The 1 i brought is philip downlight which is 1 pcs hardware so have to buy some and keep cuz they can eol the products anytime,

Another thing is to take note that they always market LED as below
Led last longer 5-10 years - yes it can last very long but as time goes buy the brightness will decrease, led can last very long but not the PCB or the led driver so if u got a lousy brand driver u will end up spending more money to replace.

Temperature is lower normal bulb- yes front surface is nt hot... try touching the back of the led.. can be very very hot tats y some have large heat sink to dissipate the heats.

Color temperature - especially warmwhite the color can run abit u will see some will be more or less yellowis. So i advise buy same batch production to lessen the color difference.
