Phone plan setting changed after update?

After a phone update, my Android phone setting was suddenly changed from Singtel (postpaid) to becoming Singtel (prepaid) and I cannot get mobile data running? I can call and sms but cannot whatsapp or get internet.

Tried restarting phone, resetting SIM, checked all the connection settings against a friend's Android phone that was working, making sure all the settings are the same.

But APN still shows Singtel (prepaid)?

Any help?

Yeah, tried that. It only gave me a Prepaid option, which is very weird cos it's supposed to be a Postpaid

sounds like an applied sim profile after an update. you might have selected wrongly while trying to skip the messages away.

you can just find another sim card, same telco also can, and insert it into the phone while its turned on. phone will prompt to select again. once selected, remove the sim card and re-insert your own sim card, it should also prompt back the same thing.
