ello everyone, i recently bought a LG Optimus G, like 2 months already. its a really good phone, but when i dropped it from waist high a few days ago, the screen cracked, and the touch screen will not work.

so i called singtel and they said its not under warranty, so i called LG singapore and they quoted me a $100-150 repair price.

now i need your help guys, what should i do? is there a better alternative like going phone repair shop? if got any reccomendations can share plss :(

thanks guys

I think a $100-$150 repair price is reasonable, especially when it will be done by LG. Going to a phone repair shop is an alternative, but at that quoted price I'll go for LG without a second thought.

A quick search on ebay for "optimus g screen" shows that the screen and digitizer will already cost about $100 over if you want to order them and do it yourself.

Hi pal, I suffered exactly the same fate =(. Do you call LG and they collect the phone from you or do you have to go to their service centre. How much did it cost?

If you drop the phone and screen crack of course it's not protected by warrranty. It is considered user fault unfortunately :(
