Phones with Dual Sim Cards?

Currently I have:
(a) one prepaid sim card (with no data plan)
(b) one 3G data plan (only data)

I put the 3G simcard (b) on the spare phone set it as wireless hotspot so that the phone with prepaid simcard (a) can use the internet (FB, whatsapp, etc..)

Can dual sim cards phone do this at one go? Because I dont want to bring 2 phones every time.

or any other solution?

you should check the settings of each sim card in the dual sim phone's firmware to see if it allows setting a specified sim card as default for data usage, and the other for voice calls/sms

Yes,at least for my dual sim tablet phone.
I use one singtel sim card for phone call,one m1 data sim card for Internet.
Two can be on at the same time.
It a china tablet phone.

i guess the china tablet phone runs on a derivative of android with its own app stores.... in which case, you could also consider a "branded" dual sim phone which uses google play.

iirc i saw a video clip showing some features of the sony xperia c, and the voice/data selections for each sim card.

my advice is not to go for China brand phones

For the price you pay, might be better getting an export model of Samsung.

What abt da Lg G Pro Lite, dual sim too. Is it dual active sim? Is it better to da samsung ones?

7 Inch 3g tablet phone.
Dual core,1 Gb ram,320PPI,12mp back with flash,1.3mp front,8 GB storage.
Ext micro sd card slot,removable battery.
Play store loaded.
Brought 1 yr ago around $200,now should be cheaper.
Already use fo 1 yr,so far so good.
Ever drop 2 times,nothing affected except corner dented.

I have my fair share of experience with China phones and my advice is that if you are willing to part with the kind of money to get China phone.

Do yourself a favor, go get a Samsung, LG or any of the brandede export models.

So TS, whether Samsung or LG, it's ok. Just get an export model. Little indiaa, along race course road have this suntek or naranjan electronics which sell super cheap export phones. But test before paying.

Ya. It's a decent phone. Just bought one for my mum.
5 inch dual core phone with 1gb ram and 8gb storage(but only 4gb usable cos the rest used by the OS. But can put sdcard) IPS LCD screen. 5mp back cam and 2mp front cam.

For generic users who are not into gaming. Just watsapp, surfing, email, fb, calling etc.....this phone confirm can meet 99.9%

Most dual sim android should fulfil your needs. Just be aware that you will be required to select sim1 or sim2 for sms and voice call. Press the wrong sim (data sim for sms) and your bill might goes up.
