Phuket (Grab/Uber)?

Just to confirm Uber's not working in Phuket? How about Grabtaxi? Will it be app price or still taxi driver's "price"?

phuket rarely have cabs ...
mostly operated by tuk tuk ...
Very expensive, short distance 200b already ...

just like in pattaya, rarely have cabs
mostly operated by lorry pickup ... people pay the pickup 10-30b
people would hop on as the lorry goes by ...

Phuket only grab.

Went few weeks ago got 150b discount for 2 rides.

I took once when I was there last week. The driver honoured the app price, including the 150baht discount code.

You should definitely use Uber in Phuket.

My suggestion is get a local telco SIM card, then sign up uber using this code below to get 75 THB off two rides

anyone used grab to get to airport before ?
how much ?

so far my driver always charge 600b ...
no use grab in phuket ...
