1st time visiting Phuket Thailand..

travelling with elderly parents with slight walking difficulty.

Should i book Airbnb or Hotel? Perfectly near beach/town to enjoy scenery.

is 5 days too long? any itinerary?

5 days sound a bit long.

If you travel with elderly, recommend to stay around Patong area. There's a big shopping mall, Jung Ceylon there. And the beach is within walking distance. Plenty of night life too.

I would recommend you to check out Phuket Old Town. Other than that, pretty much for you to explore the beach areas.

Next time I want to go pattaya when I am elderly :D

Prefer Pattaya ... Have central festival mall 1min walk from hotel ...
For phuket, their central festival is kinda far , not much hotels nearby :(
jungceylon mall always full of ah tiongs ...
