I got all this from Windguru.

I only captured June because this is for the interest of the June trippers due to the school holidays. It is also quite ideal because it is the low season for Phuket. I got back from 4 days there last week and it rained. I had been lucky so far going to Phuket in June encountering little or no rain.

From the looks of it. It is crapshoot if you go in June. A big gamble but if you do land and the rains are little like in 2012, consider it a big payoff. Lowered car rental and hotel rates.

I'll keep this thread updated for the interest of Phuket tourists for June.

As usual, past weather is not indicative of future weather. This is for your reference so that you know what you are up against. I had pretty good luck for the last week of June.

Yes came and went very fast. But in general the seas are too rough for any sort of activity. Last year was so calm, we went on a JGSC tour of Phang Nga but usually Phang Nga is very well sheltered from the rough seas.

One thing great about rain in Phuket. Can go to spa while the kids watch Cartoon Network.

i managed to go phang nga bay island tour last thursday, was raining light in one moment then heavy. but the sea was not so rough... we still can take canoe to visit some of the hidden areas of those limestone islands.
