don't know. some things not cheap leh
went to the area near beach? the shopping street, got 2pax think japanese want to cut price till v low, the sa (guy) not v friendly, tell them to go away. say less than tb100? don't come n buy things from me etc. then they walk off.

before that i was looking at some scarf for my mum. the female sa auto cut price by herself. cut till become sgd$6 per piece and i go check other place see any things to buy n went back. she's gone n left the guy sa. because this time i show 'i want to buy things' face, he only discount a bit then i said the previous lady discount a lot, say the amt then he said cheapest liao. buy 3 also same price. then i buy 3 lo. most impt is don't show too much interest then they probably auto cut. i find some accessories pricing way too high. went to langkawi n bought them at 10++, less than 20$SGD for a set. Phuket like v tourist price

I went there a long long time ago (2010).
If go on tour, don't buy the photographs straight away, must bargain if want cheaper.
The pasir malam at night not bad, near the market.
If want to try shooting, there is a shop in the shopping Centre that you can pay for different ranges of rifles and pistols to shoot (expensive though).
Airport food is not nice.
Try not to take tuk tuk, heard is not safe/extort...
Can go island hopping/snorkeling.
I stayed at kelly's hotel (3*, but cheap) and the restaurant beside served great food.
We went for thai massage too.
