Buy at UOB head branch. They are the only Singapore bank that sell gold and cheapest you can find in Singapore.

Buy Pamp Gold Bar or American Eagles Gold Coin. They are the most recognized worldwide.

UOB also buy back the gold as well.

Frankly, people who buy physical gold usually intent to hold long-term and not selling unless they have to.

If your intention is to trade gold, it's better to buy through Stock exchange, CFD or Futures. It's easier and less costly.

Trading gold in physical form in the short-term, will cost a lot more than online trading.

1 thing to note is Gold Eagle is not 999 gold and is not exempted from GST in Singapore context...the South African Gold Kruggerand is the most recognized gold coin in the world...

i thought the south african krugger is also not GST exempted as well due to not 99.9% pure gold?

Yup...it is not GST exempted...Just highlighting that it is the most recognized gold bullion coin in the world and not the Gold Eagle..

For 999 Gold, Canadian gold maple, China Panda and Australian Nugget is recognized worldwide..
