Hi, would like to know which universities are so called better to study Physiotherapy? I am looking at countries like Australia and UK...

another doubt I have on my mind...
Ive already emailed to several universities about it, but would like to have some feedback here too, hope y'all could help..

I'm a diploma holder, studied Info-Communications (3/4 IT-Stuffs, 1/4 Engineering) at Temasek Polytechnic. So as you would have already noticed, I do not have any science background. And I don't think the Pure Physics & Chemistry I sat for 'O-Levels' could be of any use by now.

My point is, is it even possible get into it? (I am 100% fully aware that there is no exemption)..

studing in UK is definitely much cheaper than in Aussie.. Quality wise, Aussie beats all other countries hands down?

That's kinda 1 sided claim isn't it?
States offer great program too and uni does has experience treating soldiers. What's Olympic? When the target audiences are few compare to the experience and research adv could be done with more ppl. Some countries are big in sports, NBA, NFL, soccer etc... Ppl getting injured need these ppl.

U may want to look some famous physo around the world.

Actually, if you intend to come back to sg after doing a physio degree, you may find it hard to get a decent-paying job. Currently, government hospitals usually take in those from NYP physio. There's quite a number of them graduating each year and most of them are bonded to hospitals. They also take a one year degree after their 3 year diploma here. But the course is only open to A level science students. They dont get paid much but they dont mind since their dip and degree is all paid for. Not to mention they get paid while studying here and during their degree. So when you come back, your salary might be pegged to theirs, which might be bad for you since you spent much much more on your degree. On top of that, those grads from NYP and MOHH overseas scholars more or less meets the market's demands for physiotherapists here. Just some advice before you consider going for it. On the flipside, Singapore is facing an ageing population, physiotherapists will be in demand for a long time coming.

however like havoc mentioned, your ROI on a physio degree is not good.
