for such yearly even, there r more shopping than shopping. u wont just b seeing wat u usually seeing during the wkday or wkend

Meaning there are more shops / temporary shops open ard that area ah? last time i went ping xi, so empty, thus din feel like going back. But since they have stuff, guess i will just go ping xi walk ard get rush to wait at shifen bah.

Usually they will release 12 times that day. The egress is hardest. We stayed till 3 release n escape the bulk. Reached back ruifang ard 1030pm. My friend went back to muzha taipei, reached closed to 1130pm. Only transport is the feeder service and the TRA trains.

What time they start releasing? Btw, do you mean that u stay till 8pm and leave?

Guess if i can board the train to ruifang, maybe can consider move on to baidu and transfer, seem more train available.

definitely...throughout the whole yr, this is the best time to earn money....
n of cos, do expect the price of drinks n makan to b higher than normal day

Usually will attempt first round at 5:30pm. And then will be 1/2 yearly affair there after. I left about 6:30pm to 7pm. Then Move towards the queue etc. Long wait. Trust me. If alone, you can go beserk.

Usually every hour have. If not go by muzha side. Check the webby ba.

on the way back taipei. Still going on despite rain, I was shivering in the cold. Not all lanterns took off. The main lantern in second set did not make it and burst into the slope
