Quite funny, those Netizen comments. :s13:

However, there is merit in what Pinky said as those Netizen comments were ultra-nationalistic and ignores neighbouring countries' relations.

Not funny at all.... sad to see all those comments... Not just that Pinky alone kenna pluck, his father mother, and even Singapore also kenna pluck... those angry people in China simply don't give any chance.

One wonders why we keep importing them enmasse and treat them as treasured talents instead of screening them more carefully.

Why can't we be like the USA and UK and Europe and import only the smart PRC Talents instead of every Tom Dick and Harry.

Our EZ-Link also bend over backwards and allow their railway pass.

I do not see why we have to lump all PRC nationals into one group.

PRC netizens seem very united but get past the surface and you see something very different.

The "chinese" after all specializes in "civil war" over the conquest of others.

It is not nice for Asia stability if Japan actually gets to form an army again. Which under the WWII treaties they have with the USA, is still highly unlikely. The game here is being played by USA, Japan and China. Taiwan the poor servant girl just looks on....

I dun see why we should stop Japan from self-destructing if they insist on going up against the PRC. It is a very different China from the one they dealt with in the 1930s.

Latest is that our MFA is now trying to do damage control on behalf of Pinky, MFA made an announcement claiming that Pinky was being framed by the Chinese news web site, unfortunately MFA's effort was sort of like 越描越黑。

Those China Netizens are really very fierce, they continue to blast at Pinky and Singapore, they even nickname Pinky as 汉奸 & 日本狗, and many more... poor Pinky is in deep **** now...

Announced in our local news and radio, I'm sure you've probably hear them... even Chinese News website [IFENG NEWS, aka. Feng Huang] also posted new article about Singapore MFA trying to clarify Pinky's earlier statement, link is long, you need to do a search... ;-)

The problem is a war among the two will not only affect sg's growth and also our social sphere. Remember that there a huge prc community here together with a sizable jap community. I'm not sure how fast our police can arrest them if trouble breaks out...

Pinky should have said something more diplomatic rather than trying to say something that would score points with the Japanese. When u are at a crossroad, keep quiet nothing will happen.

Exactly! Pinky should wise up and keep quiet, especially when the subject matter is very sensitive; Pinky tried to act smart like his respectable old man, but ended up offended the Chinese community, hence Kenna the firing and blast. Now those Chinese netizens hated Pinky so much that they condemn him and even Singapore... Sigh.

Yeah, poor Pinky should just stay away from the big fighting elephants, and quietly wait until the stormy weather has calm down.... Damage has been done and he is already being blacklisted by the angry dragons.

Nothing that a few callups of NSmen cannot solve the problem. I'm sure there are plenty of NSmen who will be rubbing their hands in glee if they are tasked to round up troublesome foreigners.

Our NSmen? Don't count on them too much... Without weapons they are simply too weak and no good at all in dealing with the Chinese new citizens when engaged in a one to one fight.

Moreover, why bother with both Japs and those Chins? Let them fight and kill each other until they are fully satisfied. Haha.;):s13:

Help the Japs, Pinky will offend Japan; help the chins, Pinky will surely offend China. It's just too complicated for Pinky to intervene :s8::s13::s13:
