Places to donate books

I would like to donate some books to charity.

I see most would send them to the salvation army, but from what I know, they will just sell them instead.

I was wondering if there is a place who would take the books and distribute them to various children organisation who would place the books in their library?

the books are in very good condition and it would be a waste to just sell them off or be recycled.

Library from what I know. My wife donated lotsa novels and kids books to them...

agree...i think it would just be a waste of the books.

i'm going to try http://passiton.org.sg/ it seems they broadcast to all the vwo what is being donated and the social worker tries to match it to a needy family who need it.

lets see if anyone need books. at least I know someone else will be enjoying those books.
