try not to over-plan. a lot of times the most memorable parts of a vacation are those unplanned encounters and experiences. losing ur way could be fun too... u may discover hidden gems when wandering around lost!

u can just plan the transportation routes and maybe some well know restaurant u wanna try, but dun have to stick strictly to the plan. sure, the famous restaurant are nice.. but a lot of unheard of eateries are great as well. i actually enjoyed the experience at unknown hole-in-a-wall eateries more than those popular commercialised restaurants. small family owned eateries give a homely and friendly feel that restaurant dont

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Kobe. There is a shopping mall below the hotel and in there is a restaurant specialising in teppanyaki Kobe beef.

You can go for lunch - it's superb value. If you top up the set with the fried rice, the chef will fry the rice using the big piece of fat, dice it into tiny size bits and squeeze the oil out till you get crispy bits of fats. Hands down the best fried rice I've ever had.

The beef was just crazily good. But really sinful!

It's ranked #2 /2000+ restaurants in Kobe on Tripadvisor

Some of them don't eat beef? The restaurant will have other items. Not all dishes are beef.

If they are vegetarian - then split up and have a meal without them. Traveling in a group doesn't mean everyone has to do everything together. You'll get a much better trip if each party is allowed to do what they prefer.

Don't miss the experience I really loved it!
