Play Store: Something went wrong

Same here. Always gives the error. Cannot update. I have done everything like some of you said. It still returns the error. My tablet s8 have no issues so far so it may be a Samsung phone issue with Google playstore. Camping here for a solution.

I just checked my Note 20 Ultra, same issue faced.

i confirm face same issue on newly setup S23U.

And I'd like to say that even after all the app cache clearing activity and even if it may seem to be resolved.
When you check for app updates it will show nothing to update.

I tested an app by uninstalling an update. The playstore main update section will still not show the app having update. Only when search the app itself it shows there's an update (on the app page).

Summary. When your playstore seems to be telling you there's no app update for more than a day, it's like meaning a problem still persist in app updates by playstore.

I think could be google server issues. Fortunately I'm not alone. Works for a while and then come back again.

Same issue here. ZF3 user. It will show numbers of apps needed to be updated on the icons and once you go into the play store the same issue happened.

here is how I fixed it.
clear data on the play store app.
set a VPN to USA. go to app update. update any app. turn off VPN. so for so good

problem will come back again. it fixed for me when I connect to US server via VPN
