Noted. A major issues still need to be solved.

here is how I fixed it.
clear data on the play store app.
set a VPN to USA. go to app update. update any app. turn off VPN. so for so good

The problem really came back lol!

But not happening on my Redmi phone, weird.

The problem is random. I am having same issue on my Z fold 4 but my wife's Z flip 4 is ok

Same issue here for the past two days. Tried all the methods but doesn't work too. Reported to Google but no response yet.

Yes issue is with Google play

Probably need to wait for next update when phone will optimize all apps and rebuilt the database.

Suddenly I see update apps now when it was still "Retry" few hours back. Fingers crossed Google has resolved the issue.

Mines still showing retry message. Once ok but only show 1 downloaded app, no other updates. Then back to retry message.

None if the solutions stick. It will work once but return to the same error after. It is really frustrating. Have not updated any apps as yet. Hope they release a patch soon.

a. other clear cache-date-uninstallupdatereset fix, work short term.

b. "long term fix" on my galaxy fold phone.
have Secure Folder Enabled with play store.
Goto secure folder ,
settings
apps
find play store , DISABLE.

return & use normal play store . There is an optional play-store-app update () ,
and installed-APPs with update/view works as usual .

Given I had done all the things like clear cache lah, remove Google account from phone and add it back lah etc before this (only to have to re-add credit cards to Google Pay thereafter) and tt nothing works permanently, I itchy hand just tried to update apps on Play Store and it works suddenly without me doing anything!

Multiple tries after apps were updated do not return the same error message anymore.

I got a strong feeling Google fixed this on their end already!

Not for me with A52s. It stills shows error. May I know what's the version you updated to? Me is 34.3.18-21
