Please advise on USB3.0 and casing problem.

Hi guys,

Before I explain my problem, please look at my rig===>

My mobo supports USB3.0. But my casings does not support any USB3.0.

Problem is I do not intend to get a new casing that has USB3.0 as it will be a hassle to change and also my casing is fine just that it doesn't support USB3.0.

Can I get a USB3.0 header or something to plug into my mobo/casing?

Please advise.

Go find a usb3.0 to usb2.0 adaptor for ur mobo. Chamoxa or t258jgn shld have.

Yes... there is no way to make usb2.0 have usb3.0 speeds unless u r GOD...

As long as your MB supports USB 3.0, just get those panel suggested by the others, those 5.25 inch one..

You have to patch USB 3.0 internal connectors to USB 3.0 panel to get USB 3.0 speeds.

Plug your casing USB2 into your mobo non-USB3.0 header lah. Deal with it. Life goes on without USB3.0

Or can go hoot those 5.25"/3.5" front panel with USB3.0 like others mention

Can get a usb 3 hub and plug into the back of mobo also..
