Hey all, I have a budget of 1k for my desktop including speakers and I would like to order the parts from mynextcomonline and built them myself ( alittle lazy to go down to SLS).

I don't really game much, so I have allocated a smaller budget for gfx, and I will like SG-02 due to its form factor

The specs will be as follows:

Intel* i5-4*570 +MSI B85M-G43 = $384
G.Skill Value 1600MHz 8GB(1x8GB) = $97
Palit GTX650TI-OC = $184
WD 1Tb = $85
Dvd rom = $24
Silverstone SG-02 + Thermaltake Sma*rt SE* 630W* Modu*lar = $162
Altec Lansing BXR1321 2.1 Speaker = $42

Total = $978

Im also thinking of ordering a Asus 7850 which costs US$125 ~ S$163, as it has a better performance than 650TI 1gb

Can some laojiao advice me on my plan?

What games do you intend to play?

And if you really want diy best just head down to tradepac and get better deals.

actually I don't really game ( my current laptop gfx damn cui), haha I usually play game with my ps3.

How much costs savings do you think I will be getting if I get my stuff to trade pac?

If you really wanna game on desktop instead then just channel more to GPU.

Time to make your desktop more useful be it for gaming or be it for general usage.
