Please critique my RTX4090 setup

On paper first. Good and bad just shoot. I can accept that.

Budget : Up to 10K. Balanced will use for buying cables and 2x20TB TB external HDD storage

Case :
1) Hyte Y60 or
2) Lian Li Dynamic O11D Evo

CPU: INTEL 13th Gen i9-13900K (Raptor Lake)

GPU : MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X 24G (liquid cooled)

Mo :
1) MSI MEG Z790 Godlike (E-ATX Mo) or
2) ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 Extreme (E-ATX Mo)

RAM : 2x16GB DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB
7800 CL38/7600 CL36/7400 CL36/7200 CL34
Compatible with 13th Gen i9-13900K, Intel Z790 chipset and supporting Intel XMP 3.0

SSD : 2x2TB SAMSUNG 990 Pro NVMe M.2 (PCIe 4.0). PCIe 5.0 SSDs is just around the corner.

PSU : MSI MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 with ATX 3.0 (Platinum)

PSU Cable Sleeved Extension Kit : ANTEC (white color)

CPU AIO 360mm
1) NZXT Kraken Z73 (white color) or
2) CORSAIR iCUE H150i Elite Capellix (white color)
3) EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB

Fans : Lian Li SL 120/140 V2 RGB 2x140 + 1x120 (white color). Maybe use the case stock fans.........

Anybody can give a breakdown of the costs estimate? Got 10K?

Additional Info for 8K connection (MSI Mo)

GPU has DP1.4a and HDMI 2.1 which support 8K@60Hz. So no issue can connect to 8K TV via HDMI or monitor having DP1.4a/2.1

If monitor has TB4 port only then can connect from GPU DP1.4a to mini DP on Mo's rear panel and passthrough out its TB4 port. Then connect to monitor's TB4 port

So more options for 8K connection.

10K you won't be looking at Asus Strix motherboard liao. You should be looking at Asus Maximus or MSI MEG series motherboard liao.

I forgot something, and that's having TB4 ports. I need it to connect to my 40TB TB external HDD storage

OK, have to relook into the Mo choice now. Like you said, either the ASUS Maximus or the MSI MEG liao

EDIT:- Updated my Mo choices. Now you can critique :D

mobo MSI Godlike have better feature set (thunder bolt / M-Vision Dashboard remote controller / 7* m.2 / 2A fan header). also MSI bios have better description and easy navigation.

for 360 AIO can consider EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB newer model https://www.ekwb.com/shop/aio/ek-nucleus

If you are building a high end personal computer with a spending budget of 10k. I suggest you consider a good
UPS as well. >

10k budget with nice cater custom cooling keep all your part under nice cooling condition since u are going for TG panel case apart from looks alone.

Yes, I know but I'm not into it. Very troublesome to set up and maintain.

Easier method is to use watercooled CPU and GPU with some fans

ar.. dont think you can buy a 40TB SSD which your USB 4 will be put in good use.
If it's just 40TB HHD, ar the drive can't even go near 6gbps .. then will be like under utilized USB4.
as for 40TB SSD, that will cost you almost 3/4 of your 10K.

If you want just go for asus extreme.

I think like that you just get corsair 1000d case or lian li v3000 and go watercool

Monitor if you want and got space can go with lg c2

I think the MSI looks better feature-wise

Not going into custom water cooling

The LG C2 is a 4K TV. Next year more 8K monitors will be available

Just sharing, 10k for high end pc plus custom wc is just humble setup. If you spent good money on sli cards, BP fittings, aqc, ekwb and caselabs casing like some of us here, the figure will easily hit 15-18k including overseas shipping and tax.

which is why my upcoming build I will go for a change and use all Asus parts and AIO also to save time and maintenance.
