Hotel holiday inn Shi Fu good location , but the price is slightly expensive lol...
Going to fly to guangzhou this weekend, bought the ticket for 130 net two ways
Booked Grand Continental four stars hotel for 68 sing dollars for triple rooms per night. The hotel at beijing lu there not really good, like lido and guangzhou hotel, not really very good reviews, but the price is still ok.
Holiday inn shifu is around 200+ sing dollars for three adults

can do Chimelong resort. got very good zoo, theme ride, water theme park, crocodile show and best of all international circus show - need 2 days to do all

can do hot spa at the hot spring resort 2 hrs outside GZ - one day trip

many many shopping district - Beijing Lu, Shang xia jiu lu
one day each

many many wholesale centre - fashion clothing - baima wholesale
leather handbag - etc

Baima isn't the biggest,Shahe is.If you have good channels,you can buy many cheap clothes,shoes,bags(big brand bags especially),makeups,etc.A professional agent in Guangzhou taobaozom.com,you can save much money via their help.

Excellent choice! Right smack in the middle of Shangxiajiu. You won't bother with the hotel's breakfast, with so many good choices on the streets outside.

Question: how much are the rates?
Confession: somehow I always found cause to visit its toilets for major business. Most recently, early in the morning on Valentine's Day this year.

many thanks for your feedback, as me and my wife are quite particular in choosing hotel and moreover this is consider our "honeymoon", thus we decide to spend a little more. and moreover we also scare wait we choose cheaper hotels, wait we regret cos we are staying for about a week.

Train T30 leaves GZ at 10:57 and arrives at the BJ West station the next morning at 9:25. Train T16 leaves GZ at 16:62 and arrives at the BJ West station at 14:58 the next day. Hard sleeper cost 460 CNY and 705 CNY for soft sleeper. I think you can book tickets on this train from the KCR website, although I am not totally sure. Don't take the train. It will take a day and it is not cheaper than a flight sometimes. Then again, you are forsaking the numerous sights in southern China just to make a fairly costly 24 hour trip to the Great Wall, forsaking the numerous sights in Beijing as well... I will suggest not. There will be another trip when you can visit the Great Wall and Beijing properly.

The Wall runs in the east-west direction, and not north-south, in NORTHERN CHINA.

They never teach you about places in school Geography. I learnt about landforms, terrain and rock types. Not about Sao Paolo, Beijing or Antarctica.

went to tesco to buy a luggage 24 inch for 39.50 rmb
also a luggage 20 inch with 4 wheels for 110 rmb
then also key chains for 20 cent sing
also hand accessories for 30 cent sing

visisted a few tourists attractions and zoo as well, which cost around 20 rmb for the ticket itself

Would you mind to share your rough itinerary there? My family with 2 kids will be travelling this Sat.

Heard the chimelong resort is closed during this period. I intend to book one nite at that hotel so I can go to the safari zoo and circus. You think I can cover within 1 day?
