Please help comment on my Build

Building a new PC for my son, the last time i build any was back in the LGA 1151 era so i'm very rusty now. Did a quick read up this week, managed to come up with something. But being lost touch for so many years hope the pros here can give some comments and if all the parts are compatible with each other. Thank you.

MSI PRO Z890-P WIFI + ULTRA 5 245K

G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6600 MT/s 2 x 16GB 34-40-40-105

GALAX GeForce RTX™ 4070 EX Gamer Pink 1-Click OC

XPG CORE REACTOR II VE 750

LIAN LI O11D EVO RGB WHITE

Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance AIO 360 White

LIAN LI UNI FAN TL LCD 120-3 with controller White x2

Current Intel generation is performing worse than the last generation ( 14400F-14900k). I would recommend last gen Intel or AMD.
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X($250)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650 Eagle Ax ($230)
RAM: Any 6000Mhz CL30/32 kit is fine, should be around $140-150
GPU: PNY RTX 4070 Super($800 from thetechyard)
Rest of the build is fine, but i would suggest going with air cooling instead of water cooling

Cooler:Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ($55)

Mine is just a general layout,can look for something like this if you are looking for prebuilt.

Prefer intel, im building new thats why i chose the new socket, wouldn't it be a shame to go for a socket that has no future? Can easily pop in a more capable CPU in future when its available?

dont be brand loyal, u get nothing in return. the newest gen from intel has been shown to be worse for gaming compared to amd and even intel last gen. the 245k which u picked in particular is only roughly on par with the 12700k for gaming, a cpu from 2-3 gens ago (depending on whether u consider 14th gen a true gen). by being brand loyal, ur gonna be overpaying for performance u could already get 3 (!) years ago; a basic ryzen 5 7600 + b650 combo for $400 or so will be faster than the 245k for gaming. for the price of the 245k + z890 combo u listed (~$800), i would personally opt for a 7800x3d + b650 for far better gaming performance, though that is also quite overpriced at the moment and its successor is coming out next week.

not a guarantee, especially with intel. with no official word from intel regarding platform longevity (unlike amd), it is still within the realm of possibility that they just drop lga1851 after this gen.

overall, if not in urgent need of a new pc, i suggest u wait for 9800x3d release.

Put the cheap Ryzen 5 7500F onto the X870 mobo, then swap in the 10800X3D or 11800X3D in a few years' time.

You don't even need x870. Can use x670e or x670 or b650e or b650 for am5

You don't even need x870. Can use x670e or x670 or b650e or b650 for am5

theyre not the best, since theyre mostly rebrands of the previous gen chipsets. u could get similar functionality from b650e, though usb4/thunderbolt support has been quite rare on amd motherboards before 800 series. if u need thunderbolt, then x870 would be the cheapest entry point to have guaranteed support; most have at least 2 usb4 ports.

What are the value for $ processor for the X870 pair up?

for general use and gaming, the 7500f is quite unbeatable, generally can be found for $200 or so.
