please help!! computer get boot up automatically weirdly

I have 2 home power switch.
One connected to my monitor while another connected to my CPU.
After i switch "OFF" the power for my monitor, my cpu start to boot up.
I tested with new voltage surge protector, seem like it still happened again.
This only happened after few minutes or longer of using the computer.
or else anything working properly as normal.

I worried that this will cause any harm to my computer or further damage.

it appears that your Monitor off button becomes On button.

some shorting of circuit definitely.

Better check your wall socket. There might be some shorting or loose wires there, which is rather dangerous imho.

i think there is some short circuit happening. however this onli happen when i wanted to switch on my PC back after just shutdown. and it boot up automatically without i pressing power up button.
PC switch on when there is a change of voltage current in the bedroom, after i have shutdown my com.

do anyone know or familiar with this, or is there anything i do, or who to look out for,
i have jus emailed the shop tht i bought from. hopefully will get replies soon.

If there is some form of short circuiting, it is highly recommended that you get an electrician to look into it.

Trust me, getting your com destroyed due to electrical wiring is the least of your worries.

AC Power Loss Restart : This option lets you tell the PC what to do when power is restored after an unexpected loss of power. Disabled leaves the system off, while Enabled reboots the system. Previous State sets the system back to the state it was in before the power interruption. I recommend you set this to Disabled.

i have set them to "disable".
seem like if there any changes of voltage from the surge protector, my PC will toggle to switch on.
but this onli happen when i just shutdown my PC. or else anything is alright.
as far as i know, the computer was not like this when the first time i bought it.

i really worried for my com. as not sure who i should look for. i donthink it will the my home electrical power problem. my new com don used to be like tht when the bought it the first time.

could be line filter issue, tis could b from ur psu.
If u have a spare psu to try.

y i tink is psu related.
PSU is the most fundmental of all electronic system ,power to e system and oso acting as a gate for power to trigger.
Only if e plug to e psu is unplugged, even u win shutdown e system, it is still 'lively' connected as the lines r still physically 'connected'.
A interference like a on/off of a equipment next to the pc can generate some interference dat e line of e pc pick up and trigger a power-on/reset.
So b4 it can do dat, it need to pass thru e gate,normally e psu line filter shld able to filter off e 'noise'.

i using cooling master ex2 725 PSU.

jus now i doing a test with my com.if i counted down abt few minutes to switch off my other power switch "not my cpu". nothin happen and seem to be alright.

my com onli automatic boot up if i switch off the other home switch after jus shutdown for 10 -20 sec.

currently my cpu connected to one switch "S2"
monitor to "S1"

after i have done with my work. i shutdown my pc. and when i switch off my monitor power from the wall socket instead of my "S2" cpu first. my PC start to boot up again.

instead i should have switch off my "S2" cpu first.

i assuming if there is any change of voltage, it will trigger to switch my PC while "S2" still on.

however, if my com have been switch off and power off for sometime, it wont trigger or auto boot up when i switch on my power. everthing is alright and fine
