Hey guys, as the title says, im new in making my own gaming comp and i've no idea what to get. Im interested in playing games like Battlefield4, Dota2, Diablo3 etc. My budget is about 1.8kSGD and i need to get a monitor as well. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Wow, thanks so much for all the help bros, im leaning towards the windows 7 OS as i heard OS 8 is incompatible with many games. Anyways on what graphics level can i use the computer setup you suggested for bf4?

Win 8 is really Win 7 with the Metro shell running on top of desktop mode. Minimal, if none, of game compatability issues between the 2 OS.

Ohhh i see. Thanks so much everyone. Especially with the really prompt replies. Appreciate the help. I will give the OS some thought first before i purchase as i playing some really old mmorpgs and the OS 8 might pose a as a problem there. Thanks again guys
