Hi fellow bros. In a couple more days I'll be asking bro Fortran to help me build a new rig. Is this specs good enough for 1080p gaming and watching movies?

My budget for the rig is 1.4K excluding monitor, speaker, keyboard+mouse and OS. I'm a total noob when it comes to DIY rig so please kindly advise. Thank you very much!

Err mostly up and coming games like Watch Dogs, BF4, Metal Gear Rising etc.

BF4 could be very demanding so maybe can get a slightly better graphics card. Otherwise it could be just the recommended specs. Not that it cannot play but may stress the card quite a bit when playing multiplayer.

BF4 recommends 4gb vram, but minimum requirements is 2gb. Depends on which settings you want to go for

why not get Plextor M5PRO extreme?

GTX760 should suffice for BF4 normal settings.. heck im using 7850 xD

But if your budget can exceed i rather hoot GTX770
