please recommend me 14"-15" laptop, any brand.


Will b using it for - photoshop
- surfing web
- movies

Budget :2K and below.

All the laptops below at least have an i7-36xxQM + 2GB DDR5 VRAM graphics card + 1080p screen for the 15". Quad core processor definitely will affects the performance for photoshop especially when you're editing large files.

14" laptops:
- Lenovo Ideapad Y400/Y480

15" laptops:
- MSI GE60
- HP ENVY dv6
- Lenovo Ideapad Y500/Y580

If you don't mind slightly slower performance but much cheaper around $900-$1300, can go for:
- Asus K45VD/K55VD
- Asus A45VS/A55VJ
- Asus S46CM/S46CB/S56CM/S56CB
- Acer Aspire V3-471G/571G
- HP Pavilion G4
- Lenovo G480/G580

sry for the late reply, i was thinking of getting MSI GE60 which u recommended but recently i saw this model (toshiba, satellite M840-1065)
( I7 -3632QM processor with turbo boost up to 3.2ghz, 1tb hybrid hdd, free upgrade to 16gb ddr3 ram), $1399.

was wondering will this b sufficient to my need?

According to IT Show brochures, Toshiba Satellite M840-1065 doesn't have a dedicated graphics card so it isn't recommended for photoshop purpose.
