TBH, those stats are for specific 3.5" models, so personally I'd consider them irrelevant if I were looking for a 2.5" drive.

Also looking for 2.5" 4TB external.. so far there's 2 choices, Seagate Backup Plus and WD Passport Ultra.

The Seagate is like 17% cheaper, but has quite a lot of failures according to Amazon reviews. The WD was just launched like 1 month ago, so still too early to judge it's reliability.
