Hi All

I am a total amatuer in this self building of PC and has never done before.

Please recommend me some build that you think is feasible with a buget of 1-1.2k.

Main usage will be photo editing and streaming/movie. Slight gaming only.

I require a CPU and an OS. I have monitor(using 32" LCD tv), keyboard, mouse and speakers.

Thank you very much in advance!

Then just get an i5 with 16gb of rams

Msi b85m g43 + I5-4570 ~ $347
Crucial 8gb 1600mhz x2 ~ $178
WD blue 1tb ~ $76
Plextor m5s 128gb ~ $128
Leadtek gtx650ti 2gb boost ~ $201
Cm311 + fsp hexa 500w ~ $105
Samsung ODD ~ $21
Windows 7 home premium 64bit oem ~ $115

Total $1171 buy at tradepac. Diy

Add $128 for an i7 if needed.

If you cant build one then best is go pc themes and get your components and ask them assemble for you with a fee. Pc themes pricing will be about $50-70 more. With additional $30 for assembly.

Else you can go to tradepac. Buy everything and go to nigel shop and ask for help. With a small fee for him.

Thank you Jian19 and Royfrosty for the suggestion. After much research, my build should be as follow and I guess I will be building it myself as I wish to be more hands on on my own PC and I believe it is not too complicated to learn right?

Msi b85m g43 + I5-4570 ~ $384
Crucial 8gb 1600mhz x2 ~ $178
WD blue 1tb ~ $82
Plextor m5s 128gb ~ $135
Leadtek gtx650ti 2gb boost ~ $249
Samsung oem drive ~ $21
Sharkoon T28 + Seasonic M12ll Modular 620W 80+ PSU~ 186
Windows 7 home premium 64bit oem ~ $120

Total : ~1355

However this build exceeded my budget by a bit. I am thinking, whether is this build a little overkill? I am hoping that the build can be somewhat a little future proof and for future upgrade.

1 more question is that I am thinking to leave out the gfx first and use the onboard graphics until next month then get the gfx, is this advisable?

Apologies if I am asking noob question.

I will go down and check their prices this weekend because the price list I saw on HWZ are mostly written as offer without the actual price. However, to be within my budget, it will be a 10+% discount, is it possible with TradePac?

The price you are seeing here that we are quoted is from tradepac. Been there a couple of times and record down.
