Please recommend place to replace note9 greenish screen

Hi frens,

my note9 screen turn greenish again after 1 year. This is the 3rd time turn green, after replacing 2 times by Samsung. All these replacements last only 1 year.

don’t think they will replace foc again.
Thus seek bro’s help to recommend a place to change screen and battery. Especially if you had a note 9 screen replaced and still working now > more than 1 year.

Is it really worth it to replace again and have it repeat next year?

I guess you did it twice before only because it's FOC from Samsung. Isn't 3rd party repair warranty only like 6 months?

Samsung quoted me over $500 back then, and it's like a year after they changed the motherboard due to sudden death. With that kind of $, might as well go get a new phone?

try sim lim sq, usually they have a few dead note9 lying around that can be use as spare parts, or they may use OEM screen to replace it for u

Me poor uncle, so no choice, try to save every penny possible.

but the main reason is the phone is still in very good condition. Just only the stupid green screen issue.

till now still do not know what caused it, my fren also note9 but still fine. But mine after change screen 2x at Samsung Plaza Singapura, continue to happen. Is it software or hardware or what is the real cause, it’s still unknown.

You can ask quotation from sim lim sq 1st and see? than you compare is it worth it to replace it or get an 2nd hand n9?

P.S. I try to keep make the long story short.

I have a Note9 with the greenish screen problem that can become totally black.
The norm is to change screen.
However, out of the blue, I suspect it could be battery bloating ( I had a tablet with battery bloating issue ).
Moreover, this Note9 was used extensively with power bank plugged in while using.
Rather than change the screen, I experimented by opting to change the battery.
I went to a 3rd party which cost < $50.
The greenish issue happened once or twice.
I then figured it could be that the screen was already damaged as well.
Again, i suspected that battery bulge a little when fully charged.
So I charge it up to 85% ( I have a device and app that can do that ) and the green screen issue never
happened so far.

So for <$50, I still can use the Note9 for experimental purposes.
I may opt to change the screen sometime in the future though.

P.S. Not sure how damaged is your screen. Could be worth to change battery AND screen.
If you interested to know which 3rd party I went to, PM me.
So far I changed 1x tablet battery and 1x Note9 battery. So far so good.

Color change is due to the screen shifting out of place. This mainly affects OLED (including AMOLED) screens and seldom IPS.

Note 9 has well known cases of display turning green suddenly, nothing to do with colour shift.
