Hi all.

I was looking for a mid-range Android 10" tablet. I also don't need GSM - just WiFi. These came to mind:
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
Only has 1 gig Ram; too little even for a mid-range. I can see this becoming a problem.

Nexus 10
Look great, but I don't know if it's possible to find in Singapore except mail-order or some reselling/scalping.

Galaxy Note 2 10.
Great specs, but I won't use a Stylus.

Asus uses Tegra 3 (vs. Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos 4412). Is Tegra any good?
EDIT: After checking, the Tegra is only half the speed, but good enough for most 3D games. Even "Shadow Gun" runs well.

Any other suggestions?
thanks!

EDIT:
I also searched for Chinese tablets, but most of those only have a 800x600 screen and only available at taobao.
It seems hard to find ANY 10" Android tablet in Singapore.

You never mention the most important thing, budget.

If no budget >>> Xperia Tablet Z

Best 10" Android tablet so far, IMHO.

Thanks for the posts!

Where can I find a Xperia ?

yes, no price limit. Ok, under S$800 should be plenty.

EDIT:
I found the Xperia Tablet Z 16 GB, Wi-Fi for S$688 at Courts. A good "upper-mid" range tablet.
It's fast, has enough memory, and has a good screen.
I also think I can upgrade this to Android 4.2.2.
Thanks for the suggestions!

The best mid range IMHO gotta be ASUS Memo Pad Smart 10 @ $399.

Tegra 3 may be last gen SoC but performance-wise it is considered rather speedy for most.

I found this at Harvey Norman for S$499. Where is a better place to look?

You mean the Memo Pad 10 is out already?!

EDIT: Oh got the wrong tablet... I was looking for the Memo Pad FHD 10... the one using the Intel Atom SOC...

This may not be better but it will be the replacement though will cost above SGD1K.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (Quad-core Processor 1.9GHz; 10.1-inch display)

Preview: Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (Quad-core Processor 1.9GHz; 10.1-inch display) - Notebooks - CNET Asia

Supposed to be out in 3rd Quarter this year ... maybe by August or September but not sure.

On the other hand, Sony Xperia Tablet Z is wonderful Andriod 10" tablet :)
