Plextor M5Pro 128GB SSD not detected

I just updated my Plextor M5 Pro 128GB to Firmware 1.06. After not using the PC for a few hours, the system does not detect the SSD on boot. The BIOS shows "Not Detected". I have to leave the computer on the BIOS screen for 10-15mins and then reboot before it is finally detected.

My motherboard is Asrock B85M-Pro4. Any ideas?

before firmware update, i was still on 1.02
didn't really get to test it as much. but don't remember having such issues :/

tried PlexTools, everything is in green health

hmm the SATA cables were new from the new mobo purchased.

hmm. but sometimes it detects, sometimes it does not :/

Plextor SSD have 5year warranty right? I forgot to register online I think... and tonight must 'reformat' my drive. sigh.

I don't think so, Convergent approach should be no difference from hard disk OEMs.
