The whatsapp icon does show the number of unread messages on PM3.

The yellow phone look very sexy but I scare the phone battery not up to standard and scare the lowest brightness cannot see clearly as I don't like to slide the brightness level too high as I want save more battery.

Battery performance is pretty good IMO. A full charge can lasts up to 2days based on my usage of web browsing, listening to songs, watching videos, YouTube consumption, etc. When the battery drops to 20%, the phone prompts me to turn on battery saver mode and it can lasts up till noon on the 3rd day with moderate usage.

Noticed that the front facing selfie camera to be the light sensor for the auto brightness.

I have noticed some system lagging after exiting apps like chrome and Lazada. Not sure if it is an optimisation issue, or something else entirely, but it hasn't been overly common or concerning. Hopefully future updates will resolve this.

I am still using the silicon case that came with the phone, and have yet to find a phone case for it. Am eyeing the camshield cases that I have seen for other phones and waiting for Nillkin to list it on their official store for local shopping apps.

I am liking the dual stereo speakers a lot. I have even tested it with my go to song on YouTube.

You are comparing very different price segments. M51 is probably 3 times the price.

Figure I share something I learnt from a YouTube video to "fix" the sluggish response time of the PM3.

Apparently, you can enable developer mode and speed up the animation time by setting it to .5x instead of the default 1x. By changing it, I have had a snappier response when using the phone. Hope this helps.

I am still not sure why someone would have wanted to compare both phones. They are not even in the same class in terms of specs and price range.

To reduce cost and achieve a low selling price.

Though now Xiaomi equipped most of their recent budget phones with 22.5W charger, especially when start to increase the battery capacity to 5000mAh and more.
