Any ideas what the upper limit of expandable SD storage can be? I'm considering buying the 64gb version and getting a SD card to expand the storage later.

Does "Up to 512gb" means I can buy a 512gb SD card to expand the storage - meaning base 64gb + 512gb SD card, or does 512gb minus 64gb means I can get a 448gb and lower SD card to expand the storage? Kinda new to this.

But do app takes up internal memory space? Don't forget WhatsApp takes up fair bit of internal memory too. From my current situation with F1, I realise 64gb is quite challenging tight...

App take up internal memory space. SD card is mainly for storing photos, downloads, videos. Unless you want to format your SD card as internal in which the speed will suffer.

Yes you can buy a 512GB microSD card and put it into the phone in additional to the internal memory in the phone
