I'm new to UT

If you sell and re-buy on the same day, are there any chances you end up with less units?
Yes, as I saw Endowus sold some of the funds with transaction a day later (think its the bond fund) for some reasons, I normally do that in batches so is minor and if bond fund relatively stable. You may be getting more or less if sell/buy at different transaction day.

Amundi funds are synthetic, there are additional risks involved with that.

It would still be prudent and not have everything in there.
Here's my search on ChatGPT. The prospectus a bit confuse probably my bad english :)

The fund with ISIN LU2420245917 is the Amundi Index Solutions – Amundi Index MSCI World A12S-C. This fund employs a physical replication strategy, meaning it directly holds the underlying securities that constitute the MSCI World Index.

Key Details:

  • Fund Name: Amundi Index Solutions – Amundi Index MSCI World A12S-C
  • ISIN: LU2420245917
  • Replication Method: Physical (Direct)
  • Total Expense Ratio (TER): 0.10% per annum
    Morningstar
  • Fund Size: Approximately USD 4,387.16 million as of January 2, 2025
    Morningstar
  • Inception Date: March 9, 2022
    Morningstar

Thats correct, Amundi has two funds with similar names. Amundi Index MSCI World and Amundi MSCI World.
The Poems one, Amundi Index MSCI World is direct replication, Amundi MSCI World is synthetic.

However, I have no problems with synthetic as synthetic ETF have 0% US WHT. I am vested in Amundi LSPU, a synthetic S&P500 ETF which outperforms other S&P500 ETFs because of the WHT advantage. The fund size is USD 20,555,41 million and TER is 0.05%

What's the reason not to sell and buy if you have spare cash? Sell and Re-buy UT with no transaction cost, keeping with Endowus until Transfer out available might take long or never happen then you are just spending extra 0.3%.
actually how do we do it then efficiently?

Use extra $ to buy at POEMS then sell at the same time at Endowus?

Yes, that's what I am doing but not sure if this is most efficient. Good thing is no transaction cost for UT and you can do that in several batches if not enough cash.

If wanna buy Amundi Index MSCI World unit trust with SRS on POEMs, open cash plus or cash management account? Their comparison like quite confusing, don't know which to open...

No difference if buying unit trust only.

For shares, cash plus is custody with cheaper brokerage while cash management is CDP with more expensive brokerage.

The inactive fees mentioned in previous pages only affect shares.

If using CPF IA/ SRS, what's the frequency y'all doing to make the fees worth it?

Quarterly?

Thanks. If apart from unit trusts I also wanna buy DBS, UOB, OCBC shares with cash and CPF. Would Cash Plus be better with lower brokerage fees than cash management?

I think high chance as there is no reason not to include with Amundi already setup. Since they are approved for CPF so POEMS gets the benefit no need to apply for the approval again.

If you look into Endowus report, Amundi Prime US is the 2024 most popular fund in their platform. Endowus probably lost a fair bit of fees from clients moving out with the most popular fund. I am not sure anything they can do with this....
