Cool thanks. Any issues with the agents? Or the whole process smooth smooth?

Also I spoke to one agent already, but feel like since policypal is so small, there's a chance that they might jump ship. Which leaves the consumer having to deal with a new agent constantly. Do you think this is true ?

quite ok. i bought endowment from them recently, elastiq 1.8% guaranteed interest and can withdraw after 3 months. their follow up quite good leh. they called me to say got new endowment plan launching soon and asked me to join the waitlist. https://forms.gle/6DA74bKiDxzULUcX6

So this elastiq 1.8%, after 90 days can withdraw and the 1.8% will still remain for 3 years? TIA!

I'm lost! In your scenario, what are you withdrawing after 90 days? The 1.8% on what funds will still remain for 3 years?

If I got this right, can place up to $50k then after 90 days can withdraw min $500 per withdrawal.

So basically it's like a savings account that can move funds in & out subject to the relevant TnCs & guaranteed 1.8% for the first 3 years? Thanks

I also saw thus referral prog in both Etiqa and policypal website, which i assumed both are the same.

Anyone wanna share the referral code? :)

Receive an S$50 Shopping Voucher for yourself and your friend will receive Etiqa eWallet credits worth 0.5% of policy’s premium value as a sign-up gift! Simply ask your friend to enter your unique TiqConnect referral code or your mobile number under the “Referral Code” field during purchase. You may refer to https://www.tiq.com.sg/promotion/for-elastiq-referral-program/ for more detail.

There is also this cash rebates but I don't quite understand. :s22:

If you deposit between $5,000 – $25,000, you will get $10 cash rebates after your policy is incepted. If you deposit between $26,000 – $50,000, you will get a $20 cash in cash after your policy is incepted. You can only receive the cash reward based on the total premiums you purchase per policyholder. Terms and conditions apply.

This is offered by PolicyPal as a sweetener if u purchase thru them .. PP will credit you the cash rebate into your bank account (via PayNow due to Covid) .. I got it before for another Etiqa product.

However, need to check if the amount is more than the 0.5% in Etiqa e-Wallet credits in buy direct on Etiqa (I believe eWallet credit can only offset future purchases).

Wondering what would be the pros and cons of choosing Tiq 2.1% vs 1.8%? Is the ability to withdraw after 90 days from the 1.8% tranche the only deciding factor? Thanks *********

i think the 2.1% is 3 years endowment. i bought the 1.8% cause got flexible withdrawal after 90 days. so it's up to you and your cash flow. if you think you won't need the money soon, can get the 2.1% since the interest rate is higher. anyway buy from policypal better cause can get the rebates! sometimes they also got promo for new products.

i think all agents have the potential to jump ship la... my other insurance policies also changed agents before. anyway this endowment plan can be bought online directly, don't need to meet their agent!

ya, i got the call and email for the waitlist! did you join the waitlist? i joined a few days back. not sure when launching

Ya, i told them i am interested. Heard got free stuffs, maybe vouchers, rebates or points.

But the policypal points quite useless now, i do not have car or pets. No point buy annual travel insurance also.

Use to redeem a few sets of surgical mask.
