-40 new bus services + many more new bus services since then
-Free morning train rides
-Poly concession
-99 new trains
-Free wifi in MRT

He was given a pos system and he has tried his best to improve it but alas, it was already damaged beyond repair. I really don't think it is fair for him to become the scapegoat even though he has put in so much effort.

Meanwhile we have ministers collecting cardboard for exercise yet I don't see him quitting politics to collect cardboard fulltime.

Yes. He is trying to change things while receiving constant flak from all directions. His letter to PM reflect how he has been fighting a lonely battle by himself over these years.

I feel this is no choice...

Put it another way....if you work for SMRT do you want your wage increase? Year end bonus got more?

all these are taken from daily fares also....

Of course don't compare with that High wages CEO ..lor again this have to trace down how he manage the management...Fair or not or bo chap....

Some of the changes done will take time to realise. Like revamping the bus operator model and purchasing more buses.

All this is to rely lesser on the increasingly unreliable railway system.
