prefer m16. sar gets problematic once the barrel heats up. your accuracy etc will be affected. also sar21 scope not consistent one, need to keep recalibrate and will dirty / fog up especially if u wearing glasses. i found myself more consistent with the m16 iron sight.

Not sure about the newer arms, but just between the older ar15 and m16, each have their pros and cons, depending on usage bah. Guess its the same with the newer ones.

Impression from the old bird, if really go to war think many will prefer m16, less issue and more accurate. Heavy abit nevermind. But more reliable. Its a life matter.

Ar15 is lighter more compact, but think less accurate cause of the moving parts. But its more easy to handle for those in vehicles with tight spaces.

So, if not at the frontline having to face enemy direct with hand weapon, probably Ar15 and newer still ok. But if go down to pure face to face fight, think many will just take m16 for peace of mind.

SAR21 uses plastic magazine, no such issue

SAR21 also easier to aim with the scope, combat shoot sure marksman one

but SAR21 is heavier

so doing drills prefer M16, shooting prefers SAR21

M4 is better I shot all the variants at range overseas.

But if you give me any gun to use I like the ww2 enfield m3 used by the British. Very satki bolt action and satisfying after each shot. Problem is nowadays all auto rifles, this one reloading too slow.

but if close range I prefer to use handgun. All rounder g19 with extended mag. Faster reflexes. Maybe dual guns like fa gor.

M16 is genuinely good.

Light, reliable, easy to maintain and no need scare people steal the regulator.

Sar21 also good, but it is heavy and not designed for an army that is trained to tekan each other.

Actually I only hate sar 21 because I feel that it is just a conversion to help turn state money into private money through ST. You know you know.

Not really bah. SAR21 is shorter, easier to move the rifle around during fibua mah. Got scope so the soldier can hit more accurately mah. What's so bad about it? Even the Israelis tavor is built around the same concept.

It will be great if they can cut the weight down bah.

Very good gun, short short so easy to move around, then got scope so very easy to shoot...

Some more charging handle by the side so easy to pull...

Then moi got posted to Air Force and we are forced to use M16 because we are considered rear units...

The M16 so long move around so mafan...

Then the iron sight so jialat so hard to shoot...

Charging handle also at the back which make it hard to pull...

SAR is an inferior weapon that fail to sell in international market.
the sales volume of the weapon is the ultimate truth when it comes to how good it is.
